Unique characteristics of this Cloister

The Cloister overlooks its lovely gardens and boasts magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean and a small verdant islet. This village was once the capital of the Island, but nowadays it is a quaint fishing village and one of the main tourism centers of the archipelago, with a marina and small pier. From this pier you can go fishing, diving and whale watching or even swim in the islet’s marvelous natural seawater pool.

Walking distance from the hotel, you can find mountain trails that take you along the gorgeous lush landscapes and stunning volcanic beaches. Nearby there are two golf courses and you can take scenic drives to lagoons or the natural hot springs.

The island is known for its pineapple cultivation and hundreds of greenhouses, where exotic fruits are produced. It is also famous for its pottery and of course its abundant natural beauty, so take advantage of the peace and rare splendor found here.

This venue is ideal for a restful vacation and moments of tranquility. Likewise, its romantic history makes it a perfect place for a dreamy wedding!
