This Castle Hotel dates back to the 18th century and was built on the site of the original palace’s kitchen. It was beautifully remodeled by a famous Portuguese architect to offer luxury and comfort in a fabulous location. Although it is situated in the heart of Lisbon’s historical center, the venue is very private and completely secluded from any kind of traffic. Even by taxi you can only get within 100 meters of the hotel, since no vehicles are allowed in the Castle.
A privileged location with elegant rooms arranged around the gardens. The rooms are decorated in earth tones, with special touches like crochet monograms on the sheets and pillows, and soft comfortable bathrobes. Throughout the hotel you can find medieval relics, such as the cistern, thought to have shaped some of the original Palace's outbuildings.
