This Sanctuary offers some of the most breathtaking views of the city and neighboring regions. The finest view is found at the top of the famous staircase. If you are fit, dare to climb the hundreds of steps. If that’s not your idea of a vacation, don’t worry because there is also a 19th century water powered elevator that can carry you approx 285 meters (935 feet) in about 3 minutes. Whether it’s enjoying long walks through the lush forest or a picnic for two, you’ll be most delighted with everything this Sanctuary has to offer.
