Set in Portugal’s most famous wine region, on a lovely 15 hectare (37 acre) estate, the Vintage Estate has been classified as one of Portugal’s best boutique wineries. It is surrounded by splendid vineyards and an exceptional heritage.
The owners have been linked to the production of wine throughout their entire lives. Apart from learning more about the world’s first demarcated region and its wines, at the visitor’s center you can even take part in harvesting the grapes. Don’t forget to taste the various red and white wines and savor sparkling wines, moscatel and special Porto wines as well. Best of all, you may choose to take home their wines at vineyard gate prices!
The Vintage Estate is full of charm and an extraordinary place to just get away from it all and breathe in the fresh air, while enjoying the region’s rich gastronomy. It is also a good starting point to discover the region’s "treasures". It is not far from the train station which can take you to quaint villages all along the Douro River.
