Christians believe that marriage is a gift from God. During the religious ceremony the couple makes a public declaration of lifelong commitment to love each other, no matter what.
In the Bible married love is compared with the love that Jesus has for his followers. Jesus expressed his love by being prepared to sacrifice himself, even to die for the people he loved. This is what true unconditional love is.
As Christians, don’t forget to:
Put God first.
Pray Together.
Respect and honor each other.
Make time to communicate with each other.
Thank God everyday for your spouse and the life you have together.
